stdnt.xyz is a hand-curated, searchable directory of the free stuff students can get: free tools and API keys, student perks and discounts, scholarships, STEM programs, competitions and hackathons. Being a student (and honestly, just being online) unlocks thousands of dollars of free stuff - it's just scattered everywhere. This pulls the best of it into one place you can search, filter and save from.

How to read it
Student needs a school email (.edu) or a quick verification such as SheerID. Hack Club perks are for teens 13-18.
Everyone is free for anyone, no strings attached.

How to use it
- Search any tab from the box up top (or press /).
- Filter Tools by category & access, Scholarships by type, Programs by grade.
- Sort scholarships by amount, programs by top picks (Editor's choice first).
- Watch the Deadlines tab and export them to your calendar.
- Find Competitions & live Hackathons under the More menu.
- Star favourites, then open the Saved tab.
How we pick
What gets listed
- Free, or free for students. When a program does cost money, the price is shown up front.
- Real, currently running and linked to the official page: no aggregators, referral or affiliate links.
- No piracy, paywall bypasses or “shadow libraries”.
Editor's choice
A short list of standouts: the tools we'd tell a friend to grab first, and programs that are highly selective, strong on mentorship and usually free or funded. It's a judgment call, never a paid placement.
Where the data comes from
- Community spreadsheets, contributor submissions and our own research, checked against official pages.
- A Verified tag means a person reviewed that listing that month.
- Every link is tested weekly. Broken ones show “Link may be down” until they're fixed.
- Dates shift from year to year, so confirm deadlines on the official site.
